The Backyard Betties are a Calgary-based folk/Americana band led by award-winning songwriter Nancy Laberge, alongside Pip Hazell, Alexandra Danicic, and Mark Cassano. Known for rich harmonies, driving rhythm, and expressive guitar and fiddle, they deliver sharp-witted, deeply human songs of love, life, and loss. 2024 YYC Music Award Winners for Folk Recording of the Year - The High.
